CDI was founded in 1973 to provide specialized mechanical services to one Fortune 500 Client in the chemical process industry. We expanded our services based on Client needs and became a prime mechanical contractor with emphasis on the industrial side of consumer products, food and beverage, refinery, chemical processes and power markets.
The late 1970’s provided a steady growth for CDI and a repeat Client base began to develop through quality construction and cost effective construction management. As our Client base expanded, plant maintenance services grew in demand.
In the early 1990’s CDI diversified design and construction projects with the addition of an ASME stamp. This brought design, repair and the manufacturing of small tanks. Along with that came pressure vessels built to Client specifications and an ASME certified welding inspector.
Today, we offer our Clients a full range of services, including an ASME Certification (U, S, and R stamps), ASME vessel fabrication, process piping fabrication and installation, millwright equipment setting, rigging, machine overhauls, structural steel fabrication and steel erection, civil and concrete work, instrumentation, architectural and general contracting. We continue to provide mechanical contracting services, specializing in industrial process systems, many of which utilize exotic metals.
CDI has been awarded for “Outstanding Mechanical Installation,” by the Mechanical Contractors Association on numerous occasions.
We have the total commitment of all employees, to our quality safety process, which will make our company the leader in safety in the construction industry.
